We make architecture based on people and responsible towards the environment
Every project grows out of the needs of the people who will live in it and out of seeking the best possible relationship with the setting it will sit in, caring for people, nature and the environment alike.
We want architecture to create feeling and beauty, working with views, light, proportion, materials, movement and nature as our tools.
We aim for the greatest wellbeing with the lowest environmental impact.
We use design strategies that combine passive systems and natural materials with the latest systems and technologies, to deliver the greatest possible comfort.
We research housing and urban models that evolve and grow the way people do.
People and their needs change. We believe spaces should be able to adapt and change along with them.
We work with people and families who want to live their own way, in a home that fits their tastes and who they are, as well as their needs — both present and future.
We design comfortable, healthy homes that look after both the people living in them and their surroundings, taking care of the details and the budget so that projects are sustainable both environmentally and financially.
Multi-family housing
We enjoy the challenge of creating homes that can be lived in by very different people and families, homes that have to be ready to adapt and become a home for all of them. To do that, we explore new ways of living and flexible spaces, always encouraging a sustainable and inclusive way of life.
We work with private and public developers at a range of scales, aware of how important it is to make sure projects are sustainable on every level: environmental, social and economic.
Intergenerational housing, senior housing and co-housing
Avoiding unwanted loneliness while keeping their independence has become the wish of many older people. Living in community and connecting with others is a need most of us share.
The success of these projects lies in designing spaces that encourage residents to meet and live alongside one another and that, at the same time, invite a healthy, active lifestyle helping older people hold on to their independence.
Refurbishments and renovations
Giving new life to a space that already exists is, from the outset, the most sustainable project of all.
In this kind of project we aim to make the most of the character the existing spaces already have — often hidden — while also reflecting that of the people or businesses who will occupy them. We also work out solutions that improve how they function and cut their energy use, and we introduce materials and systems that make them more comfortable.
Temporary accommodation (hotels, tourism and residences)
Staying in a hotel or an apartment is, when it comes down to it, living somewhere — even if only for a while.
We like working on these spaces so they offer the same comfort we would ask of a home, while looking for different solutions that let you shift your perspective or your way of living for a few days, and we make the most of the relationship with the setting we find ourselves in.
Urban regeneration
We work with a range of local councils on neighbourhood regeneration projects, with the aim of improving the quality of the spaces we use every day, both at street level and in the buildings themselves, above all in vulnerable areas.
We analyse the strengths and weaknesses of each neighbourhood or urban setting and propose integrated solutions to improve sustainability, accessibility, mobility, nature, the gender perspective…
